Data collected

When you use the contact form, we may receive your name, email address, phone number, project type and location, and the content of your message. Fields marked with an asterisk are required to process your enquiry. The server may also record technical security data, such as your IP address, connection date, browser used and pages requested.

Purposes and legal bases

Data is neither sold nor used for automated marketing. No decision producing legal effects is made solely through automated processing.

Recipients

Data is accessible only to GARCHITECTURE and, to the extent necessary for the operation of the website and email services, its technical service providers, who are subject to confidentiality and security obligations. Data may be disclosed to an authority only where required by law.

Retention periods

Enquiries that do not lead to a contractual relationship are retained for a maximum of 24 months after the last exchange, unless earlier erasure is requested or retention is necessary to defend a right. When a project begins, information relevant to the file is retained during the contractual relationship and subsequently for the applicable statutory periods. Technical logs are retained only for the period strictly necessary for website security and administration.

Fonts and Google Maps

The Inter and Manrope fonts are hosted on the website’s server. Displaying them does not require a connection to Google Fonts. The videos shown on the website are also hosted locally.

The Google Maps map on the Contact page is disabled by default. It loads only after you give consent through “Choose your Google Maps preference” or “Manage cookies”. When it is enabled, Google may receive your IP address and information about your browser and the page viewed, and may use its own cookies or other tracking technologies. This data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. The service is provided by Google; consult its privacy policy and cookie information for the applicable purposes, retention periods and safeguards.

You can decline Google Maps without losing access to the website, the studio’s address or the form. A link also allows you to open the address directly in Google Maps; this takes you to an external service governed by Google’s rules.

Cookies and preferences

Language preference

The Polylang plugin may use the pll_language cookie to remember the language of the last page viewed (French, English or Luxembourgish) and retrieve this preference on a subsequent visit. This cookie contains a language code and is not used for advertising or audience analytics. Its default retention period is one year. You can delete or block it in your browser settings; your preference may then no longer be remembered.

The website currently includes no advertising tools or audience analytics solutions. Strictly necessary cookies may be used for WordPress authentication, administration and service security. Our theme does not enable them for advertising purposes.

Your Google Maps preference is saved on your device in the browser’s local storage under the key ga-privacy-v1. It contains only your consent or refusal, the date of your choice and the preferences version. It is not sent to an advertising service and remains valid for 180 days. After it expires, the map remains disabled until you give fresh consent.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through “Manage cookies”, available at the bottom of every page. Declining stops the embedded map from loading. It does not retrospectively delete data already received by Google or cookies that may have been placed on its domain; these can be managed through your browser and Google Account settings. If local storage is unavailable, your choice applies only to the current page.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you may request access to your data, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing. Subject to the conditions laid down by law, you may also object to processing, withdraw consent and exercise your right to data portability. Requests can be sent to abessologuy@garchitecture.lu. Proof of identity may be requested only where necessary to prevent disclosure to a third party.

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the Commission nationale pour la protection des données (CNPD).

Security and updates

GARCHITECTURE implements proportionate organisational and technical measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration. This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the website, the services used or applicable obligations.

Necessary site functions remain available. This choice does not enable any advertising or audience analytics tools.

Google Maps — optional. With your consent, the map may share your IP address and technical information with Google, which may use tracking technologies and process data outside the European Economic Area. If you decline, the address and contact form remain available.

Your choice is stored in this browser for 6 months. You can change it here at any time. Privacy policy
